Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Guru Nanak Devji was born on 15 April 1469 at "Rāi Bhoi Kī Talvaṇḍī " village in the Lahore province of the Delhi Sultanate (present day Nankana Sahib, Punjab, Pakistan). But People celebrate guruji's birthday in the katak month (November)because they are free this time.In the april month kisan's are engaged with their field work.His parents were Kalyan Chand Das Bedi, popularly shortened to Mehta Kalu, and Mata Tripta.His sister's name is Bibi Nanaki.She is very much understand his devine powers.She knows her brother very well.

At the age of 7 Mehta kalu sent him to school for study but he didn't want to do study .He want to gave massage of unity to all. He wrote down Ikonkaar sign on his school Phatti to gave this massage.Teacher surprised to see all this activity.Kaluji was very upset to see this because he did not able to understand that what to do.He gave 20 rupees to nanak and said him to go for trading Nanak went to near city to take sauda But in the way he saw some saadhu's were their who need food .They were very much hungry Guruji Bought some food items and gave him to them .After this incident Father Said to nanak that go and sit in the shop to sell the products.In the modikhana Guru nanak dev ji measure the wheat seeds and stop his counting on digit thirteen........

 On 24 September 1487 Nanak married Mata Sulakhani, daughter of Mūl Chand and Chando Rāṇī, in the town of Batala.Parents want to bound nanak in grahsati but his mind is not accepted all those .Nanaki said to nanak that "Veer Sulakhani ke kids honge to vo apni grahsati me busy ho jayegi but iske jawaab me guruji ne nanaki ko bola ki agar vo ye vachan pura karenge to nanaki ko beaulaad rehna hoga than bebe nanaki ne bola ki use beaulaad rehna manzoor ha .Actually vo chahti thi ki uske bhai ka ghar vas jaye." They had two sons, Sri Chand (8 September 1494 – 13 January 1629)^] and Lakhmi Chand (12 February 1497 – 9 April 1555). Sri Chand received enlightenment from Nanak's teachings and went on to become the founder of the Udasi sect.

Nanak was a Guru (teacher), and founded Sikhism during the 15th century. The fundamental beliefs of Sikhism, articulated in the sacred scripture Guru Grath Sahib, include faith and meditation on the name of the one creator, unity of all humankind.
